The indi game art scene has a particular simplicity and look to it. Often pixel art, but sometimes basic 3d but also looking like hand drawn. I am looking forward to learning how to make more art with some of the online courses I purchased with GameDev.tv which are focused on Blender and Asprite. Digital art luckily can come in many forms. Sometimes art can be had drawn on paper and then scanned and animated....

With the extreme drought and lack of rain or snow, I have been looking into alternatives to Kentucky Bluegrass. First I thought white clover, then micro clover and fescue mix, then flowering mix, and even buckwheat. But then I came across Yarrow. I have seen this one before and I love its fern like leaves. So now I think I want pretty much all these. Gone are the days for the bluegrass....

My backpack was so heavy for this mornings run commute. I wish I had run back to the flat with it on too, but I took a bus back. Feels good to be getting stronger. Heavy run commutes will help for future ultras and uphill races.

After watching a Irish YouTuber who has a Gardening channel, she said she will re-plant this year in two beds the “Three Sisters.” Corn Climbing Beans Squash The corn would be planted in a grid pattern, the beans would be near the corn, and can climb the corn stocks, and then the squash will provide shade to the earth and hopefully retain moisture near the grown level. I also want to buy more seed shakers....
