I have a couple books that I want to take notes from in order to then draw upon that research later for Colorado Rail Game and Sauna Game and perhaps Coorie Home Game.

After watching Daily Stoic videos where Ryan Holiday talks about his way of writing books, I think I want to follow his process.

  • Read book with pencil/Pen and mark up the book when reading. Fold pages back or sticky note them.
  • Once done with book, put it down and set it aside.
  • Go back to book and write down themes or items from book on note cards for Common Place book.
  • Gather all note cards from Common Place book and oragnize them into themes.
  • Write book from Common Place themes.

Anyway, I think about the reserve collection at the Public Library and how they have so many great books about the history of trains in Colorado. Hopefully some day I can get a grant to pay for research time in the library so I can groud Colorado Rail Game more in history and facts from these books.
