I honestly didn’t think the path was plowed all the way. I had first thought I would do a out and back. What I did not expect once I started was loops, water hazards, and just continuing uphill. There were a couple other uphill moments. The fact that I was recovering from being sick, missing workouts and combining two into one, and then not knowing how to dress as it was cold and windy....
I learned about Amor Fati, which loosely means to accept and embrace fate in all aspects of life. I think this is different from manifestation, but it has more to do with feelings. How you control how you feel and no matter what happens to you. You take control over perceptions and you basically say that’s great and move on. So how does amor fati have to do with history? I am not sure, but in seeing the old prospector pits with mining tailings, rail roads that went bankrupt and towns that went bust, I wonder what percentage of them thought they were wishing for a different fate, or just accepted fate....
I saw a news show about a Tempe development that is only by foot. They had dirt paths between the buildings to keep air cool and allow for rain to drain. The interviewees said it felt like a small village in Italy or France. I really like this community concept. Also they had basically no parking for the people that lived there, just parking for some stores that are on the ground level....
I finally hit 1000 lines of notes in my CCNA Markdown file. I haven’t been good with taking notes lately as I have been focusing on triathlon training and the rail game. I also am getting closer to the point of getting into subnetting, which I cant wait to re-learn as its everywhere and is so important. I also cant wait to do more Pearsons Network Simulator. I just wanted to celebrate this milestone as its taken me a while to keep at it and take notes....
I am so glad I hired the team to help make the game. I was starting to feel a bit nervious that we needed to re-visualize the game loop, and today they made the game loop with other information too. We figured out the four main personas/people that you will play as. We figured out the four main game lopps: historical, food, nature and social. So now I am going to research over the weekend how to make dialog between the players charactor and NPC’s....
