I cant believe I haven’t skied for so long. I am glad I was able to again, but also I dont think I missed it so much. Also I am back at learning networking. I am really glad to be starting it again but also these two textbooks are huge. I cant wait to finish them. I also forgot how to do subnetting and that will need to re-learn it a certain amount....
Man I didn’t want to swim the 1600, but I did. I usually surface at 300, then 500 then 700…. then I power though to 1000, then I look at 1300 and then 1570 …. and then finally my 1600. Then i’m out of the pool and feeling really good that I swam that far.
Glad that I can take a bus pretty much any time to and from the mountains. There is something like 20 buses going to Union Station. Which is great as none are usually totally full. Otherwise would love if there as 20 passenger trains going to and from,so we wouldn’t have to rely on the highway being closed.
I would do anything for a straw bale house. Yesterday I was looking at a Australian company that has prefab straw walls, and they look thinner than Modcell SIPS. The main thing I want is better insulation, and should prevention. I want to be warm/cold and not hear a thing. I keep on thinking of two kinds of buildings… that would be fun to have in two different locations. One kind like a giant square with a central courtyard, like a riad with a Andalusian patio or a ancient roman domus....
Cant believe were already past Halloween and onto Thanksgiving. I am not looking forward to the rest of cold and frigid winter. The main thing I don’t like about winter is waiting for my car to defrost. Taking precious time to scrape it and then crank up the heat by using up gas and battery life. I also don’t like slipping everywhere. If I could, I would love to celebrate all these “winter” holidays and feasts some place a bit warmer....
