Turkey

Cant believe were already past Halloween and onto Thanksgiving. I am not looking forward to the rest of cold and frigid winter. The main thing I don’t like about winter is waiting for my car to defrost. Taking precious time to scrape it and then crank up the heat by using up gas and battery life. I also don’t like slipping everywhere. If I could, I would love to celebrate all these “winter” holidays and feasts some place a bit warmer....

Chapters and Loops

At first I was thinking of writing about the CCNA textbooks which I am slowly getting though and how I run loops (slowly) around a park. For the CCNA textbooks, I cant help to think how long its taken for me to get to this point. I have been on Github for 13 years, which I made sure by doing math in the command line: expr 2024 - 2011 So its just taking me a long time, and feels like I am in a loop of learning and runnnig....

From Chromebook to Debian to PopOS

I have a old Dell laptop that I put ChromeOS Flex on. After using it for half a year, I finally thought that I needed full Linux. I use another old dell with Fedora and I3WM and I really liked that experience, but that laptop has issues with its speaker and the screen is small. So I finally decided to go full Linux and remove ChromeOS with Debian. However after a couple attempts with etching Debian to my USB, I gave up on Debian installer....

Gaming and PDFs

I want to write about how there are really simple UI indi games out (like the game Turmoil) there right now and I am really excited by how they look and how easy it is to interact with them and use your imagination. Like in ’90s video games, the pixel art left alot to the imagination and I think that is a good thing. The second thing is that I get PDF newsletters in email from groups supporting passenger rail....

Steel Drum

Yup, steel drum might be the most happy sounding instrument. Makes me feel happy and it literally cannot make someone sad. It if I were to compare it to other instruments, perhaps the bongos or xylophone are almost as happy sounding.
