In studding for the CCNA, I am using a host of resources. Simulator software, real Cisco hardware, textbooks and online exams. I am trying to put a full court press in learning the materials. I am glad I finished my IP Subnetting online course but now when I am turning to the textbooks, I am finding that I have so many other resources. One such resource is the PTP practice exam, as I just took about 10 questions and only got one correct....
It was really nice to see a old course I made. It had a 4.2 star rating and had over 3000 students signed up. I had kinda forgotten about it. As I work on the video game, I am looking forward to having users and getting it online for people to learn about history, politics and transportation. I also look forward for people supporting the work and giving feedback. I hope the game will be much more interactive than the online course in making updates....
As I learn more about networking, I really need to apply it. I have some hardware to use to learn how to do it but I also have some software that can emulate networks. Cant wait to also jump back into my books for the CCNA from this side course on subnetting that I figured would be a great resource to learn some of the hardest things in networking. It should give me a great foundation to understand networks....
I really enjoy using i3 to quickly go back and forth between workspaces, applications and windows. For Firefox I use Vimium shortcuts and this is super helpful pausing and playing videos for online learning. I sometimes need a calculator so I ctrl and enter to search for calculator and then I use the i3 keybindings to resize it between my other windows of online learning and neovim for taking notes....
After the creative writing meetup, I was interested in what constitutes a story and who is the storyteller. I originally joined just to become a better writer, but it’s quickly becoming a way to be a better storyteller. When we first read or learn a story, we automatically become storytellers by retelling it. This retelling is important, as our version will probably be different from the original story. If a person changes the story to deceive, it might be a form of manipulation....
