In thinking about a future game, I often add ideas and references into a Kanban view in Jira. But with so many tickets, I started using a mind map in Figma. Now I am thinking of moving that more to a vision board that we had used in CRG.

The other issue is that my skills at coding are pretty bad in Godot. However, I have enough tutorials that I need to make a mind map of what features those tutorials have and patch them together into a cohesive game.

I have also been going back and forth between 2d and 3d which isn’t helping either.

Finally, as I learn about the river and nature I am needing to organize all that information as well. So I have Zotero for that kind of information as well as Google Notebook LLM.

Finally after going to a documentary premier from a river conservancy and a grant giving fund for that river, I took the following notes:

  • Measure the river by its Water quality, quantity, temperature/biodiversity.
  • The river is interconnected to the whole system, mountains as the reservoir.
  • Eagle river watershed is about 3% to total flow for Colorado river.
  • Eagle river fund and conservancy originally were from the Eagle mine flood put pollutants into Eagle river, evolved into Eagle river coalition.
  • The River documentary is about the people who will be most effected by the river becoming less and less every year.

So perhaps the goal is to patch all these mini lessons and games into one game, and then get a grant money to polish it and use it as a tool for awareness and fundraising for protection by the river.
